Usually we inform about something that is done and completed so we can congratulate our team members on their achievement, however, London Marathon is yet to come. Due to Corona sitation moved from April to October 4th 2020.
This time we want to let you know about something that is going to happen. Daniel Penk decided that 2020 will be special one for him, as a runner, for Bornholm Runners as his mother running team but most importantly for those in need – people in Southern Africa.
With London 2020 Marathon Daniel will complete his sixth and last Marathon for Abbott World Marathon Majors. After making it to the finish line in 2018 in Tokyo (PB 2:59:44), Berlin and Chicago, through Boston and New York in 2019, now it is time for the last one, namely London Marathon.
In order to make it possible for Daniel to start, he decided to do something extra, and chose a possibility for being a charity runner. This gives him a chance to complete entire series of WMMs, helping at the same time charity organization ACTSA – Action for Southern Africa which receives all the donations.
The minimum amount he needs to gather is 1,500 GBP / 7,500 PLN / 13,000 DKK
It is important to note that all donations goes to ACTSA and does not support the runner in any way.
Any donations, big or small, are going to an amazing cause and would be really appreciated. Every single pound counts!
