Greta and Jesper participated in the HOKA Silkeborg running event on Sunday May 26th 2024

At this event Greta ran the 10 km while Jesper continue adding yet another half marathon to his list.

Sunday started with nice weather but when organizer started to count down for the half marathon start it also stated to rain and it continued for the full event.

It was well organized as half marathon with around 900 runners started one hour before 10 km so both group could end more or less at the same time and make it more fun for the family and friends who went to support.

Jesper finished his half marathon in 2 hour 4 minutes and 12 seconds and it was almost 5 minutes faster than his previous to runs and having in mind the beautiful but also very hilly Silkeborg area he was very satisfied with the result

Greta finished in about 1 hour 30 minutes but took plenty of stops to take pictures of the race area – pictures you can enjoy here 🙂

Also for this run Jesper got a donation dedicated Sport’n’Charity – this time it was his former colleague Hanne Ravn Mikkelsen who shared the passion of helping children fighting cancer. Thank you to Hanne for supporting this charity run of Jesper
