Jesper continues to run minimum one half marathon per month of 2024 by starting at the Nordjysk Half Marathon in Nørresundby, Denmark on March 9th.

Since his daughter had birthday this day he had organized that he would get a very special start number for the day 🙂

Another very important reason for Jesper to take place in this run – even he still was ill after a cold – was that this run also indicated a new beginning of collaboration with aim to support serious ill children.

Jesper had for the run made a donation for Sport’n’Charity (www.SportnCharity.dk). This non-profit organization is supporting children who is in or after a cancer treatment. The support is done by giving equipment and training advice by using sport training ideas to get children stronger and back in shape. Since Jesper professionally for the last more than 20 years has been working in support cancer diagnostic areas and during the time of Bornholm Runners having the aim of supporting serious ill children – this projects is a perfect match. Therefore Jesper has decided to help Sport’n’Charity to find new sponsors among his network and friends. This will be done as a part of his Bornholm Runners activities and be a strong reason for him to run more races and by these attract donations and be reason for stories here at Bornholm Runners webpage as well as on other Social Media.

Next half marathon for Jesper will be Prague Half Marathon on April 6th and for sure there will be some new supports for the Charity program – keep following
